Dhawan, Axar etc is the brain child of the new owner. Backing young upcoming players Iyer,Pant etc. full credit to the old owner. Greatest franchise owner in all sports :hatsoff:

The great owner who was happy coming last in the competition gave dumb statements we will come back stronger next year only to win the wooden spoon again chances are Jsw will take over this team from GMR completely would be great to get rid of those useless owners perhaps your Srh team can have him.

You are reading this totally wrong.

Let me give you an example- Apple is probably the top 2-3 companies in the world but how many of the common folk even know who Tim Cook is. I am sure Cook is competent in his own right but he is not a visionary, path breaker like Steve Jobs under whose leadership Apple struggled for many years in terms of revenue etc even became bankrupt( wooden spoon) .This is same as people applying stats and seeing things with numbers. No one remembers Tim Cook, everyone appreciates Steve Jobs.

The Old Delhi team owner is in the same league as Steve Jobs. A true visionary and path breaker. He has revolutionized how Franchises should be run and handle rookies. They create quality superstars and identify the next big thing. They identify meandering cricketers and turn them into icon. ABDV 360 degrees (iPhone)Dilscoop(iPod) and a then nobody like Warner(iPad) all broke out under this great man.

Learn to appreciate this genius. You are lucky that you support the same team that was once owned by this amazing owner.

But he did let them go and again what about the embarrassing defeats under him where he was smiling and laughing like it was a great thing he never cared about the team or fans infact he destroyed the DD fanbase where people at Kotla cheer for opposition teams.

So you want him to cry and throw a hissy fit. The fact that he was smiling and keeping his cool amidst adversity speaks volumes of what kind of a fine human being. A visionary + a fine human how many people like that exist in this world :hatsoff:stop being a hater.

Also he was sharing his creations to the world shows he was not selfish. What a person. Should be given Nobel prize :hail:

Long way to go though did well but something seems to be missing still feel DC too much reliant on Pant.

Sorely missed Morris the batsman in the late overs. Raddhi batting in the last 5 overs.

Morris for Keemo

Sandip in for Tewatia/Axar/Mishra

Can try Munro for Ingram in a few games.

Shaw

Dhawan

Munro/Ingram

Iyer

Pant

Morris

Axar

Tewatia/Mishra

Sandip

Rabada

Ishant/Avesh/Nathu

Team is capable but a bit top heavy.

Today we were chilling. We ate too much food last night and sucked today. Plus Thala bha was playing in Delhi for the last time so we wanted to keep him happy.iWe start again tomorrow. Not too far from championship.

Iss Gobar kaminey ka kya karein?

He has no place ideally, but these teams have acquired these headaches themselves. MI bought Yuvi now they have to play him , sane with DC stuck with Dhawan. If they needed a player to play anchor, I would say even Vihari is a good option as opener and he is quite an upgrade over Dhawan facing spinners.

I think today's team is very close to the best XI, however there is a definite need for a 6th bowling option.

Vihari is not good enough to be in the starting XI in T20s, so I'd bring back Axar or Tewatia. At least they might be able to hack a few runs at the death and can serve as a 6th bowler.

Very little to chose between Harshal and Ishant's bowling but at least Patel can bat a bit.

Ingram is a good player but I still think Munro/Rutherford should be tried.

Probably punt is suited at no.5 rather than no.4?

Pant played at 4 last year and scored 600 plus runs. Yesterday's loss wasn't his fault at all. When he got out, they needed 23 of 21 balls with 6 wicket intact. How can you lose from that point!
