E SAALA CUP NAAM DE - PARTY AND CELEBRATION THREAD.

Recommended Posts

This team reminds me of myself back when I was a man of material possessions, I had everything but no peace( in RCB’s case piece of silverware)

Then I gave up all material possessions now look at me. RCB should merge with their neighbors SRH atleast that way they will be called champions

Humble advice from Global.Baba (don’t forget the dot)

Baba, when was the last time you went to a booze party or himalayan rave?

Last time I was drinking the only black  label available was the one that they stuck on palm trees to identity for high quality toddy :((

RCB is an unknown quantity this year.

Could be a dark horse and surprise many.

Plenty of utility players to work with. Bowling definitely not the strength, but could do a serviceable job. They need to win with the batting which has the potential to be really explosive.

RCB has the option of going apeshit with its batting ..

M Ali

W Sundar

V Kohli

A DeVilliers

S Hetmyer

S Dube

M Stoinis

+ A Nath

U Yadav

M Siraj

Y Chahal

8 batters with an explosive middle order.

7 bowling options (4 pacers, 3 spinners) ... Yadav, Siraj, Stoinis, Dube, Chahal, Moeen, Sundar ... Not great but possibly serviceable.

Chahal is very good. Umesh was good last IPL. Siraj hopefully has overcome his nerves by now.

ok, after much thought over an evening beer.

I think this will be the last yeat Kohli and ABD play together for RCB. ( May be).

I wish to see these two bats win an IPL together, its a bit like Sanath and Sachin and then Sachin and Ponting with MI.

Were all loyalties transcend and you just want to see your familiar champions just win.

Its going to  be difficult for me to not support them in every game even against CSK whom i have always liked.

Hope RCB wins it this time, for Kohli and ABD.

Is @Austin 3:!6 really an RCB fan? The OP looks like a troll post.

Can either @Austin 3:!6 or the mods change the title removing "e saal cup namde" ... It's neither officially the team's slogan nor any RCB fans use it.

Virat should not open. He will never demolish the opposition in the powerplay. Neither his intent nor his game is suited for powerplay. Even when he plays really well, the score is never 60+ in 6 overs.

If at all a 'big' player must open, then let ABD open. On his day he'll absolutely bludgeon the bowlers.
