Straight Drive
(1) KKR versus K11P at Eden Gardens. Excellent tonking by Narine. Wonderful stroke play. See it, hit it. Simple and effective tonking that. Loved it a lot. 25 runs were tonked off Varun Chakravarty's first IPL over. Narine scored 24. Lynn scored 1 run. zen
Why 22? Is it because the number has 2 2s? Why not 15 or 20? or 16 (4 4s) or 18 (3 6s)?

I did similar thread during IPL last year. There were lot of 20 and 21 runs overs. Browsing through commentary and recording all these overs was also tough. I observed 22 runs is not easy to score though and hence there are lesser instances of that. Edited March 31, 2019 by Straight Drive zen

chewy
(7) RCB vs KKR Andre Russell mauls Southee , 29 1 6 6 6 4 6 https://www.cricbuzz.com/live-cricket-full-commentary/22412/rcb-vs-kkr-17th-match-indian-premier-league-2019 18.6 Southee to A Russell, SIX, 29 off the over! Russell has killed the game. RCB are dead and buried with this onslaught. In the slot from Southee, doesn't miss the yorker by much but that's enough for Russell who blasts it over long-off for another six. Scores level! 18.5 Southee to A Russell, FOUR, more runs! He can do no wrong! Short ball this time, Russell waits for it and ramps merrily over Parthiv. Races away to the fence in no time 18.4 Southee to A Russell, SIX, he's gone nuts, he's gone absolutely nuts here Dre Russ! Southee misses the yorker from round the wicket, it's a low full toss and it's dumped over wide long-on. Flat maximum. It's a storm out here 18.3 Southee to A Russell, SIX, just over the third man fence! Raining sixes now. Short and wide this, third man is up and Russell goes for the upper cut. Got more height on it actually and Chahal from deep backward point fancied a running catch. Not to be 18.2 Southee to A Russell, SIX, swings it into the stands! The carnage continues. In the slot for Russell who shovels it over deep mid-wicket. Clobbered deep into the crowd. Pressure on RCB This is the ultimate battle in this game - Southee vs Russell. The crowd is behind the Kiwi. Let's see what's in store. 18.1 Southee to Shubman Gill, 1 run, slower ball and Gill waits for it, slaps it down to long-on. Does the right thing, gives the strike back to Dre Russ Straight Drive and sscomp32
