lol I dont know about others,  but still the thought of missing Rohit in the world cup didnt invoke a sense of worry. 4 guys I would shudder at thought of getting injured are Kohli, Bumrah, Kuldeep and Pandya. Even though this news  does not have any credibility

He has serious hamstring issue, had a surgery and prolonged break due to that. If it has recurred, I think he is certain to miss WC.

Had it happened just before first WC game?

Stop supporting payajama league just before mega event .  He is  injured in IPL bcz playing so many games and still most of season left and temperature day by day increasing. I hope  some players get rest in between games .

If there was no IPL, we would have been playing something. You can't stop playing because of fear of injury.

It's different first u have to understand here ,team playing 2 match in between 3 day and player have to go one place to another so it's big task also this time of year  temperature increasing day by day .

Rohit Sharma was unsure whether he would need surgery a few weeks back with BCCI medical stuff conferring with specialists on the extent of the damage he had suffered during the final game of the ODI series against New Zealand. In that, Sharma had hurt himself while trying to complete a run and dragging his thigh across the surface in a desperate attempt at staying not out.

The injury was further aggravated with the opening batsman continuing with his knock and scoring 70 in what proved to be a valuable knock in India’s win.

Now, Rohit has undergone successful surgery in London on his right upper quadriceps tendon with the recovery process keeping him out for three months at least.

Here match is just 3 odd hours and Fielding is just 90 mins. It doesn't matter what temperature is because if not IPL, they would have been playing some other series. You can't stop playing cricket 2 months before WC. You need to keep playing to stay in the nick.
