It’s not a black hole. It’s an event horizon. It’s not physically possible to see a black hole

The video from National Science Foundation calls it a event horizon and a black hole. What's the difference. ?

  • Event horizon they say - is the point point where light and matter begin to fall inexorably into a hole. They have created the picture from data of multiple telescopes, capturing the edges of a black hole.

How can you see a blackhole when it is theoretically meant to swallow in light? Light is the fundamental of vision.

What we saw is the shadow of the black hole, a composite image created by the radio waves emitted from it. One mind boggling thing is the upper and the dim half of the ring might actually behind the black hole, we are able to see because of the wrapping of space there :afraid:
