Goras now captaining Rajasthan Royals

Yesterday it was embarrassing seeing Rahane in the field, all fielders were taking orders from Stokes, Butler and especially Steve Smith

These three would be in discussions without involving Rahane, he stood by quietly

Man he should have taken charge and told them to shut the fe ck up, and he is in charge

And btw,  Smith needs to be dropped, has been hopeless just like Rahane with the bat

Yes, this new version of Smith is Tuk tuking worse than Dhoni! Not fit for T20s.

You see the same thing with SRH as well with Warner clearly calling the shots or Williamson when he is playing where the only thing Bhuvi seems to do  is run and give advice to Sid Kaul and the results are there for everyone to see.

You think guys like Kohli and Dhoni want someone with a voice to play under them. There is a reason why these meek Rahanes and Bhuvi types have survived so long despite mediocre performances.

Reflection of Indian society today

He was reluctantly nodding the head. But what i saw was, SMith was trying to make his presence felt so that he gets more ODI practice before world cup. Actually when he captained India he was not that bad. Looks like he is suffocating in this "Australian Atmosphere" which was originally set up by Shane warne.

RR should get rid of Shane Warne first, this guy somehow fluked the 1st season and rode on it's coattails for 3 seasons after that.

Exactly, it's was so embarrassing, and Smith only consulted Butler and Stokes.

At least man up, and if required drop them, as captain you need authority.

Stokes has been flop since joining Royals, should have been dropped ages ago

So what's issue here? Warner and Smith were the former captains of their sides. Warner has done more for SRH than anyone else and commands respect of the team. Smith, while not a great T20 player, was the captain of Australia and has similar stature as Kohli. On the other side we have an international nobody like Iyer captaining Boult and Rabada.

And Rahane and Bhuvi are just introverts personality wise. Does not mean they are meek. Unless you associate being overly expressive ( like Kohli's antics) as a sign of mental toughness.
