Wood, Willey, Woakes, Cummins, Ngidi are better bowlers. Boult went for 10 an over as well. They dropped him.

woakes and woods both were thrashed last season.  CSK released Woods. Ngidi is injured.  Willey withdrew.

Did you see him recently. Completely changed. Effortlessly clocking 148k. I know Gayle got a hold of them. But he was still very good

I saw him last year and most recently. There is a lot of difference. He is more nippy, more accurate, also hit the bat harder.

Lockie Ferguson is as quick.  This is IPL, here everyone gets thrashed sometime.

In the IPL history Dale Steyn has the best economy rate among foreign born fast bowler. His ER is a mere 6.72 over a span of 90 matches 92 wickets.  Probably the only fast bowler other than Malinga (6.93) to go under 7 an over that long. Bhumrah 7.74.
