Preview: Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to nip their two-match losing streak when they take on the Delhi Capitals in Match 30 of VIVO IPL 2019.

Nearly two weeks into the season, the Sunrisers Hyderabad were placedat the top of the standings. But now, ten days later – after losses to Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, they find themselves in the bottom half. The two losses have exposed a few chinks in the Sunrisers set up; the team is too dependant on the two openers, the middle order is misfiring, and the execution by the bowlers in the death overs should be a cause for concern.

The Delhi Capitals come into this match at the back of wins against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders. Prior to those two wins, they were beaten by the Sunrisers in Delhi, and this match presents them an opportunity to settle scores. The Delhi Capitals will be delighted with Shikhar Dhawan’s return to form; the left-hand opener steered his team’s run-chase in the previous match against the Knight Riders.

What to expect: The surface will play a key role on Sunday. While the SRH batsmen enjoyed batting on this deck in the first two games, they were rattled by Mumbai Indians a few days later on a slowish track. Conditions are expected to remain warm throughout the game.

Team news

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kane Williamson batted in the nets on Saturday and looks all set to return to the playing XI at the expense of Mohammad Nabi, who will feel unlucky to miss out.

Probable XI: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow (WK), Kane Williamson (C), Vijay Shankar, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul

Delhi Capitals

Despite winning their last game, they will be tempted to bring back Sandeep Lamichhane for Keemo Paul. Amit Mishra too can get a go if the pitch offers further indications of playing slow.

Probable XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant (WK), Colin Ingram, Chris Morris, Axar Patel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Rahul Tewatia/Amit Mishra, Kagiso Rabada, Ishant Sharma

How do you feel @Rasgulla bhai your team SRH against Delhi.

SRH is really good at home, With kane back batting looks bit better. DC is miss or a hit. SRH bowling is usually good dealing with DC middle order hacks. Should be good one!!!
