WC 15 - IPL 2019 - Performance Tracker.

Recommended Posts

It doesn't matter for me as to who wins the IPL. I'm not so hardcore into the tournament as you guys are here.

But I want to see the selected Indian players make complete use of this to get some good form before the WC. So far the batting has been a let down with nobody clicking well.

Bowling has been good and encouraging so far. Shami especially. :two_thumbs_up:

SHami, Bumrah, Chahal have been good.

Kuldeep and Bhuvi not so good

Good stuff from Dhawan, but Pohit still looks pudgy and out of form

Kohli is Kohli, and I just worry about his captaincy and not his batting.

Dhoni is Dhoni, and has been chill, and in good hitting form.

Pandya has been in awesome form, but has to play longer innings.

Troublesome with Shankar not getting big scores, or finishing games.

Jadhav is kinda hit n miss.

Rohit- decent form. Glimpses today of the Ro the whole of India fell in love with. If Jadeja can play as a fielder alone, this guy’s brain alone in the field is worth its weight in gold. Like the Aus series he can win the WC with his advice alone. Points- 7/10

Dhawan- one good knock but had looked to be struggling but always a gun odi player compared to T20. 5/10

Kohli- looks mentally switched off and batting form has been down. But an ATG will turn it on come wc.7/10

Shankar- Not sure of his role for his IPL side or the Indian team. Looks good in patches. 5/10

Jadhav- bits and pieces performance and suspect against quality bowling but has shown he can score fast regardless of the situation with street smart cricket. Liability in the field. Hasn’t bowled in the IPL. 6/10

Dhoni- IPL bullying as always but has lead the team decently and keeping is still the best among the options. Has a back problem. 7/10

Pandya- seems to be in prime hitting form. Gun fielder. Bowling has lost some zip but still most valuable player.8/10

Jadeja- gun fielder. Batting and bowling  has been alright. Middle of the road player as always. 6/10

DK- has been decent as a captain. Batting form a worry. Keeping has been good. 6/10

KL Rahul- seems to be in superb touch. Keeping has improved as well. 8/10

Kuldeep-form a worry 5/10

Chahal- has been the best bowler from the main side this tournament despite his team’s results. 8/10

Bhuvi- looked good in patches especially when he bowled fast instead of dumb knuckle balls. 6/10

Bumrah- Not At his best but still top class as always. 7/10

Shami- looks the best fast bowler from the main team- 8/10

Dhawan, dhoni has more runs then rohit. How come dhawan has less marks then rohit and dhoni who bats down the order has more runs has equal marks. Dhawan made 97.......rohit is yet to make a 50

DK has 6.........what has he done

Rohit deserves at max 5 points

Dhawan has only one good knock Even there he was dropped multiple times. Rohit has looked relatively more assured and also the way he is handling youngsters and they are responding to him give him that extra point.

Chal teri baat ,nahi meri baat nahi I will give him 6/10

Guys who are rating H Pandya, it is only his batting which has been boast worthy this IPL. Fielding is decent. But his bowling has been off thus far. Nothing to brag about. Giving him 10 overs in an ODI can be risky.

He is still bowling at 140s, and was getting swing up early.

He did well in NZ.

T20s can skew impressions a little bit.

I'm just happy that he seems fit enough to bowl at that pace, and is striking the ball so well, and fielding with freedom. Gunner made me a little paranoid about his fitness.

Rohit - ugh, worrisome

Bhuvi - at this point, not first choice

Kuldeep - off color, but still have confidence in him

Chahal - awesome upsurge of form

Dhawan - good that he had that one big innings, and starts

Shankar - disappointing that he is not closing games out, or making 50s

Jadhav - looks unreliable, but can drive home the advantage

Dhoni - looks good

Bumrah - hasn't been spectacular, but class is class, not worried

Kohli - Same as Boomer, no need to consider these two, they are at a different level, and will bring their A-game

Shami - excellent fitness and form, obvious starting choice

Pandya - great striking, good pace, probably the best of the Indian players in IPL, impactful

Rahul - should really gun for the Orange cap, happy with his form, not sure how he would handle #4

Jadeja - up and down, specialist sub fielder role

Karthik - might hardly play, hasn't done much
