Sanju Samson  (wk)

Ajinkya Rahane (c)

Ambati Rayudu

Nitish Rana

Karun Nair

Krunal Pandya

Krishnappa Gowtham

Deepak chahar

Shardul Thakur

Ishant Sharma

Damn! Even this team looks on par with the main team.

Replace Ishant with Jayadev, Chahar with Kulkarni.  Morale of Indian batsmen will be sky high.

the below will beat the current WC squad as the batting appears stronger (only Kohli and Pandya to consider) and the bowling can compete too to a certain extent:

  • Shaw
  • Gill
  • Agarwal
  • Iyer
  • Kishan
  • Pant
  • Ashwin
  • Gopal
  • Chahar / Nathu per conditions
  • Saini
  • Krishna

  • Nathu / Chahar
  • Ishant
  • Rana
  • Dubey / Sarfaraz / ....

PS added Nathu on potential

ur underestimating dhawan n rohit........rohit will wack them and will srsly hurt them

Bumrah n shami is also a huge diff

whole batting lineup lacks exp and that also hurts ..........

no way this team will beat current Wc squad.....

India left many good marginal choices out. Wish they have a practice match with a reject XI before going.

Agarwal

P Shaw

Shubman Gill

Shreyas Iyer (c)

Rishab Pant

Ishan Kishan

Ashwin

SHreyas Gopal

Saini

Prasidh

Khaleel

Ashwin needs to be captain of this side and it could probably beat the wc side if one of Shami or Bumrah have an off day and Kohli does not score.

Strong team... Id probably get Krunal in for Ashwin. I know people here dont like Manish Pandey but he is one of the best List A batsmen and IMO was not given a long and fair enough run- although he didnt grab his chances too.

Agarwal

Gill

Vihari (instead of Shaw because he can bowl)

Manish (c)

Iyer

Rishab

Krunal

Gopal

Rajpoot

Saini

Krishna
