vvvslaxman
They are not including a 140 kph bowler? lol Link to comment
zen
Haven’t followed SA much lately but like the bowling attack of Rabada, Ngidi, Steyn (experience) and Tahir If the batsmen are in form, they have some good match winners in: de Kock, Amla, Markham, etc. May not dominate but good enough to squeeze into last 4 if an opportunity presents Link to comment

Gollum
Weakest RSA squad ever in WC history. Phelku is pretty decent actually, current Morris hasn't done much to warrant selection. I would have dropped Amla and picked young Zubayr Hamza at no 3 with Kock/Markram as openers. Amla is too limited, selfish and with a pathetic record in ICC tourneys. Zubayr wouldn't do much better/worse than Amla but at least would have gained vital experience, considering he is expected to be their mainstay in 4 years time. Anyway this looks like a middling side, not top 3 material IMO. Batting is pants. vvvslaxman
AMla is not going to win any matches lol He will be a liability whether he bats well or not. Link to comment

I think Phehul batted well in a few matches. That probably got him selected Link to comment

Nikola
Morris is trundler in odis. When ever i saw him bowl in longer format he looked avg bowler to me but in ipl he looks completely different. Cricket_Nostradamus 1 Link to comment
SK_IH
Bowling looks really good and that will keep SA in the reckoning. Link to comment
The Realist
Dismal squad full of has-beens and mediocrity. SA are steadily becoming an average side. Link to comment
