India's seven Test specialist cricketers are all set to play the 2019 County Championship ahead of the ICC World Test Championship.

Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Prithvi Shaw, Hanuma Vihari, Mayank Agarwal, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma would be playing in England this year.

The Test Championship commences from 2019 and these players believe the County experience will help them prepare for the coveted tournament.

Technical benefits of County are exxagerated.

The only benefit is it allows players to play many first class games in short period which no other country provides.

This is where Ranji can improve by allowing each team to play minimum 15 to 20 games per season as opposed to just 8 games per season

Same report says as of now only Pujara is set to play for Yorkshire (why hasn't he started already) and Rahane is likely to sign up for Hampshire. If Shaw, Vihari, Mayanl and perhaps even Pant can get picked, would be a great learning experience for them. Will also help in case there is an injury in the WC squad.
