Maybe Islamic attack or a false flag...Buddhist Sinhalese hate the Christians and have carried out terror attacks in the past, state backed terrorism isn't unheard of in Lanka. Feel safe in India thanks to Modi sarkar, terror attacks in our cities have come down drastically after the horrors of 90s and 2000s. But if this is a jihadi attack our Indian jihadis will get inspiration to blow themselves up too, chain reaction. Let's wait for more developments in this case. Based on the little news in SL I follow the Christians and Muslims there get along fine, just like in India they are allies against the majority. They even held joint rallies recently against BBS and other Sinhalese RW groups. And LTTE is practically dead in the island nation, I am intrigued to know who is behind this attack. Won't be surprised if this is a false flag to defame the Tamil separatists, maybe to turn the majority against Northern Tamils in view of the ongoing constitutional crisis and upcoming war crimes probe. Unlike India, SL takes national security very seriously and they are battle-hardened. Lankan govt isn't indecisive like ours, their police/army and other relevant agencies will get a free hand....ruthless aggression is a guarantee.
