Waste of power play. Narine was so much effective in this power plays with his unmatchable strike rate.

31/2 in 5 overs.

Agree. if a stroke maker or pinch hitter gets out, you still have tuktuks .... but if a tuktuk gets out esp. after spoiling the PP, your team needs a special knock by a stroke-maker to bail it out

Gill showing he is not ready for prime time yet.It is very hard for young batsmen to adjust to the increase in speed , everything happens faster than under 19s.

Gill and Shaw are first one we have seen who have some caliber since Rohit and Kohli back in 2007/08.Rohit turned out to be dud in red ball cricket.

Of all the things that are moronic about Kohli’s captaincy, his backing of fast bowling is what makes him standout. Compare him to trundler lovers like Dhoni and Rahane. Some people wanted Rahane to be the test captain

Kohli does that even on slow tracks. On flat roads pacers tend to go for a lot of runs

Backing fast bowling is the single biggest factor that turned Ind's test fortunes overseas, making it relatively more competitive

PS In Ind, even Joshis and Rajus do well
