Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals, 53rd Match, 4.00 PM IST

 Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi

The track at the Feroz Shah Kotla has been mostly on the slower side. On a slightly positive note, for the match between RCB and DC, there was a bit more pace on offer. The weather is expected to be mostly warm.

Rajasthan Royals: In Smith's absence, Rahane could again take over the leadership duties on a temporary basis. Mahipal Lomrar, the batting all rounder, came in for Ashton Turner for the game versus RCB and with the track in Delhi set to help slow bowlers, the think tank might give him another chance. In the absence of Smith, Turner could also get another opportunity.

Probable XI: Ajinkya Rahane, Liam Livingstone, Sanju Samson (wk), Ashton Turner, Riyan Parag, Stuart Binny, Mahipal Lomror, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat/Ish Sodhi, Varun Aaron, Oshane Thomas

Delhi Capitals: With Rabada ruled out, the experienced Boult is set to play. Colin Ingram hasn't exactly found his touch and as a result, they could be tempted to try out Hanuma Vihari.

Probable XI: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Colin Ingram/Hanuma Vihari, Sherfane Rutherford, Axar Patel, Chris Morris, Jagadeesha Suchith, Amit Mishra, Trent Boult

Dhawan 470 runs Rabada 25 wickets. No more Rabada

Iyer has over 400 runs. But strike rate is only 122 for a fluent stroke player. May be captaincy responsibility has slowed him down. Other than that, DC relies a lot Pant and SHaw. Pant blew hot and cold. For Shaw this has been a flop IPL so far. i don't mind any youngster having a FLOP IPL. But the manner in which he gets out is worrying. 3 caught behind in a row almost similarly. Then caught on the off side.

This is why Ishant never developed as a ODI bowler. He clearly gave indication in the first two balls what he was going to do. He let it go since he was out of position. He didn't read that bowl another length ball. Smashed over wide mid on for six.

Just now, asterix said:

Bye Bye RR...

Hope DC wins the match and tops the table...

Hoping for MI to lose to KKR...

That’s the way to avoid MI meeting CSK in he first qualifier at Chepauk...

Finals are quite obvious so no need to worry.
