This only makes Vijay Shankar's spot more certain since he's the only sixth bowling option now

Shankar is good only "theoretically" .... One of the worst players in the squad :winky:

Doesn't matter. Now that he's selected, what are his chances and how are they going to use him? Earlier Jadhav was there to bowl a few overs. Now with him gone, Shankar is the only other bowling option from the top 6

Reg CSK, they won't disrupt their batting order by much. Murali Vijay will open with Watson. Faf will play at 4 and Rayudu at 5/6

Watson should be dropped, he had 14 chances already. He failed in 13 of them. How many chances do you need? Which team repeatedly gives chances to the same player except CSK/Dhoni.

Dhoni will not drop Watson. End of story
