Bowlers vs Pak SL Ban in the last 2 years

If you check the link you will find majority of the wicket takers against other Asian sides are seamers. Especially  fast bowlers not trundlers. We may have to leave out a spinner if needed against these teams. This is where saini’s Selection has a merit leg side Hacks like Fakhar will offer a chance against bouncers

Now watch Kohli field 3 man spin attack against the Asian sides, if common sense had an arch-enemy...

We did that before but it's not that if we play 3 pacers + ar then win percentage will go very high.

Odds are they play spin better than say SENA country bar may be England. None of these guys have any degree comfort against fast accurate bouncer.

On ICF novices tend to amuse themselves by playing around with stats, overlooking factors such as

  • playing conditions
  • opposition team strengths
  • bowler's form
  • Current squad

On the link, I saw mainly NZ and SA bowlers, against whom these teams have played most games and when these teams rely on quality pace bowlers .... Also, the Asian teams should be the least of Ind's worries relatively speaking in a round robin format in SENA

As for "Horses for Courses", a team would do that based on playing conditions. On a flat pitch, a team would play the best bowler in form when choosing b/w the 2nd spinner and 3rd pacer
