That was joke of an innings by Dhoni. Didnt even try to hit it out. Anyway Aussie were better team than us, India could not beat them in any format during those four month stay, lost even warm up against Aussie.

What a 100 that was by Smith ATG knock. Ash bowled well, Kohli choked, Johnson unbelievable with both bat and ball, Finch scratchy, good opening partnership by us before Kohli singlehandedly sunk our chances, Dhoni-Rahane partnership comical, Jadeja did Jadeja things incl run out, overall a massacre. 

 

Something tells me we will get a repeat SF between these 2 sides in this edition and the phainty will be even more severe with Smith yet again owning Kohli in the big stage.

Things have not changed a lot. 90% of us thought we would lose before the toss. 99.9% confirmed we wold lose after the toss :) 2015 loss was almost like expected one even though we talk  now like it was a missed opportunity. Another thing is Current England side is then Australian side. That Australian side was highly vulnerable on any surfaces that offered anything little. But they were unbeatable beasts on flat roads. It is almost the same with current England side now. But only difference is then Australian side had a much better bowling attack than the current ENgland side.  Not sure if England wanted to ape the 2015 model of Australia, but they missed out on bowling. Archer will improve their bowling though.
