Nikhil_cric
Bairstow expected to make way for James Vince, Buttler to captain and Mark Wood to get a chance to prove his World Cup pedigree as well . Can Pakistan pull off a miracle on the flattest pitch on the world? Link to comment
Forward Defence
No Morgan, no Bairstow. That's two of the top four in the batting line-up not playing. If England still manage to get 400, God help whoever plays against them in the World Cup. Stokes will probably bat at 4 like he did last match. England might want to get him and Ali into some serious form. Alex Hales has been an absolute beast at this ground and Pakistan will be thankful for his absence. Link to comment

He was, comfortably , the best batsman in the Royal London Cup with a high average and striking @110. They won't miss Bairstow a lot. Link to comment

As good as Vince may be, any opposition will prefer bowling to him over Bairstow at the blink of an eye. Bairstow is the second most ferocious hitter in the England line up after Buttler. Vince's batting is quite pleasing to the eye. He will be looking to strengthen his WC claim in Hales' place. Only problem is that he has a propensity to lose his wicket in the midst of being in sublime touch. Link to comment

They can play Roy Bairstow Vince Morgan Buttler Stokes Ali That lineup cam crush any bowling attack on a flat track. Root actually slows them down a bit. Link to comment
Sachinism
The absurdity of ODIs in England. We're probably going to see the highest scoring match of the series today. Link to comment

He holds one end in the middle overs and can score runs briskly also. No way is Vince better than him. Root is the main reason why we lost 2-1 in that last series. Norman 1 Link to comment

Franco Vazquez
Wood averages 45 pretty awful for someone who thinks of himself as an Ambrose Link to comment
