Last time we played WI in a multinational World Cup type tournament- we lost 9.last time we played South Africa in a World Cup In England or in this style of format- we lost. Hopefully team selection is right because there is not much choosing to be done. IPL fatigue isn't a big reason. 25 days of gap before the first match that counts...players with niggles can be rested. Biggest reason would be virats captaincy followed by Ravi's stupid advises. If we can overcome those then it's coming home. Link to comment

If we can get 2 wins out of the first 3 games, I think we will be in good shape. OTOH, if a typical slow start results in 0-2 or 0-3, then it's curtains for our knock out hopes. I am hopeful that the spin twins will win the game for us against SA and maybe NZ. Maybe it is good to go in with low expectations, so let's see what this team can do. Going by what a much younger Dhoni did in away WCs in 2007 and 2015, can't see how this team will go beyond Semis, that too if we are lucky. That middle order is a complete joke.
