ravishingravi
5 trillion economy in 2024 with -80 % population in middle class or above uniform civil code land reforms ease of business. More focus on start up India, skill India and jobs. Stupid liberals couldn’t corner the govt on some obvious issues. Jobs is clearly a problem, also we need a transparent mechanism to track employment. GDP is a big problem. At this point, I am not sure what that number means. They tampered with it but can not justify. This time the victory was driven by TINA, last mile delivery of schemes and nationalism. But this mandate is unprecedented. With Rajya Sabha majority beckoning, this golden chance. Clarke, Sgattick10, Turning_track and 2 others
diga
Along with all of the above, abrogation of article 370/35A granting autonomy to J&K is very much needed. I am not sure if Modi can do anything, but at least he should start a debate on reservations based on caste. velu
*ease of doing business *encourage SMEs both will take care of employment issues .. *invest heavily in infra projects , which will boost our economy ( china is doing this for the last 2 decades ) *screw libtards and if there are protests against industries anywhere in india , punish them badly ( they usually protest for 200-500rs and a bottle of whisky ) Straight Drive, Adi BB, Turning_track and 3 others
Turning_track
-Abroggation of Article 370 & 35A. -There should be huge onus on 'Make in India' especially in defence sector. Lip service isn't gonna work when we have a lot of defence needs. -Young entrepreneurs should be encouraged & helping them to save from red-tapism. G_B_
I want labour reforms delivered Last 5 years GST was a nice tax reform. Land reforms would be amazing. But dont see even Modi touching that. 5 trillion economy will not happen. I think its fair to expect we overtake the nominal GDP of Germany. for a 5 trillion economy the rupee would have to heavily strengthen. Not a good thing for Indian exports. Not advisable at all. Pollack
Joomla, joomlas and more joomlas. He is a typical gujrati businessman. He has the skills to sell 10% quality product as if it's 100% quality. No doubt he will do some good works but he will hype it to the moon. The day after surgical strikes he was chest thumping in front of crowd in rally taking credit of the army which was really avoidable and looked crass. There are still many adults who do not have homes of their own. So there is a huge chance of growth in property consumption as well as public infrastructure. Lot of infrastructure projects were well executed in last 5 years. I expect the government will perform much better in the second tenure than the first one. velu

Real McCoy
1. Cut taxes. We are already getting taxed more than US and getting shitty govt service. 2. Every school must teach moral science and civic sense till 12th std. Sri lanka is more cleaner than India. Swach bharat should be pushed vigorously 3. Rapid industrialization. We should make half of the products we buy from China 4. Reduce pollution. Some of the cities up north have poor air quality 5. Maintain wild life and preserve environment BJP had 5 years and didnt do much. They said its too little time to do anything of substance. Now they have another 5 years and further more since Congress is unlikely to make a comeback after this term. So nobody is holding them from doing what they promised. This is a golden opportunity for them to showcase their brilliance and how they differ from Congress. If they don't, people will ask the same questions they asked to Congress
