Bumrah and Saini bowling in tandem could have been a handful. Someone needs to be niggled out of the squad to bring in Saini. Hope it's not Bumrah. Link to comment

The term " niggled out " is used in jest in ICF and it means that a player, who is not actually injured, is declared to be carrying a niggle to bring in another player who is thought to be a better fit under the circumstances. The potentially niggled out player is a relatively weak player ... like Jadeja or Shankar in this squad. Suhaan, Mosher and Forward Defence 3 Link to comment

Saini,Prasidh,Aaron etc are all duds. Umesh can tonk a few,but that is once in a blue moon. Ishant has a better defence but that's about it, no shotmaking ability. If Saini replaces Jadeja/Shankar our lower order looks like 7 Kuldeep 8 Shami 9 Saini 10 Chahal 11 Bumrah With the new ball accounting for wickets in almost every game, we just can't afford to have such an inept lower order. This will be like all tail and no body Vilander and Mosher 2 Link to comment

This will be like all tail and no body I look it other way,7 genuine match winner batsmen alongwith 5genuine world class bowlers And yes there should be one batsmen who can roll his arms This team has more chances of dominating world cricket rather than the team comprising bits and pieces cricketrs But then if your bowlers can bat, that's bonus, but priority should be taking wickets and creating pressure Just as the Aussies of last decade Its my view ,you guys are entitled to have yours Edited June 2, 2019 by Suhaan Rightarmfast 1 Link to comment

This will be like all tail and no body It would be a 3 pacer + 1 spinner combo. Applicable if the pitch is very pacer friendly ... like most pitches in this WC so far. 7. Pandya 8. Kuldeep 9. Bhuvi / Saini 10. Shami / Saini 11. Bumrah Saini could have been the backup pacer to cover for genuine niggles or loss of form. And Saini could have been played anyway against weaker batting lineups against genuine pace. Edited June 2, 2019 by express bowling Mosher, ShebbySB and Forward Defence 3 Link to comment
