All 6 Pak bowlers!!

Look at all 6 bowlers used by Pak..all 6 can bat and bowl..even their worst batsman Amir can deal a few lusty blows..we on the other hand have to play cautiously for all 50 overs coz realistically speaking, we play with only 6 wickets in hand right from ball 1..Moreover none of our batsman can roll their arm over..not even in the nineties were we this helpless..for God's sake even the greatest batsman, Sachin was more than handy with the ball

Yes they are all one dimensional..

In addition to sachin's wicket taking capabilities, he was also pretty safe at the slips and superb at the deep with his bullet throws.

Rahul dravid is a handy keeper. Vvs hardly missed a catch at slips, though he wasn't at mark Waugh level.

Saurav, Viru and yuvraj were all competent bowlers with UV also prowling at point during his peak years.

 

On the other hand we now have shikar dhawan, who can't bowl to save his life and does the most cringeworthy thigh slap celebration everytime he holds on to a laddoo catch.

They showed Kohli rolling his arm over during net practice. Maybe he is planning to bowl a few during matches.

I don't care what this team does, but I hope they avoid losing to Pak and BD. Even if they lose to Afg, I don't care.

While lower order batting ability is always a plus ... ODI matches are usually won or lost because of the batting ability of the top 7 batters ... and wicket taking ability of the top 4 bowlers.

 

India is the No.2 ODI team and have won ODI series against SA, Australia, NZ, WI etc. in the last 18 months, despite weak 8 to 11 batters ... because of the above mentioned factors 

 

We have a very good ODI team.

You're forgetting we played a third string Aus, second string SA & also lost to England easily. We only won against full strength NZ, WI also didn't field the same unit against us! Lower order batting will be handy this WC, perhaps not the deciding factor but certainly fielding & catching will be, we all know how bad our bowlers are in this area

Because he will lose nothing by dropping a catch as long as he maintains his 40ish batting average.

 

Either this moron or kohli dropped an easy but valuable slip catch off umesh in a test match and the next match they both played whereas Umesh was dropped.

Two selections by Pakistan - Aamir and Riaz just might take them far. 

Wahab type bowlers should do good on such pitches.

If at all we don't do good in this WC, it will be because Rohit is not the captain and Virat is. In my viewing only Rohit knows how to extract the best from his bowlers, even better than Dhoni. Captaincy will also make Rohit play faster

All six can bat and two of them (Hafeez and Malik) also chuck which is huge plus when rest of the players in the WC don't chuck.
