Nikhil_cric
After two successive defeats against tournament favourites England and then against unfancied Bangladesh, South Africa face issues of team combination and strategy which have been compounded by the injuries to Amla, Steyn and Ngidi. This is, more or less, a must win match for the Saffers and they are up against late starters India in what should be a mouth -watering contest on Wednesday. Link to comment
WC2011INDIA
I want a green mamba and sholay ka sikka favoring SA. Will be fun watching India bat first on such surface. SrinjayDutta 1 Link to comment
zen
Depends upon which SA shows up. SA is used to the conditions by now and would have learned from its mistakes .... But Ind would start as the fav Link to comment
nitinbwj
SA is going to get an epic Phainty... Link to comment
WC2011INDIA
If Amla returns India has a good shot. Edited June 3, 2019 by WC2011INDIA Link to comment
SK_IH
A team in it's first game vs a team seeking a revival, SA will be highly motivated to cover the lost ground. Link to comment

Haarkarjeetgaye
Will SA lose 3 in a row. I doubt. What do you guys think? Link to comment
Franco Vazquez
Easy win for SA. Nothing to see here sergio04 1 Link to comment
kruiser
SA will put everything on the line - It is now do or die for them! A tough match got even more challenging for India! Link to comment
Pak_cric
....SA is in terrible form. The match is India's to loose. if you put all the players face to face (for odis - on flat pitch)...india wins. 1 - Bumrah is a way better fast bowler then rabbada and company specially on flat pitches. 2 - India's batting beats SA's. They don't even have amla. 3 - Fielding, SA got a slight advantage and that too slight...so that won't be a game changer 4 - India's spinners are better then SA's. Imran Tahir will get smashed by India. He is not a force for India or Pak since they play spin well. On paper India is way better, but then again you never know whats gonna happen on the day off. First class
India's bowling is better than SA but in batting both teams are almost equal. If Amla plays than India's batting will also be better, so advantage India. Link to comment
SK_IH
I expect a real flat pitch as has been the case with Southampton. Link to comment
Franco Vazquez
Rain predicted for whole next week. We'll be lucky to get 50 overs in all those matches as a whole Link to comment

Nikhil_cric
I just hope our thick tank realises that we aren't a great chasing side and, given a choice, bats first. Unless it's a green seamer of course. Link to comment
Forward Defence
According to accuweather rain is forecast at around 2 pm on Jun 5 at Southampton. That would be during the fag end of the first innings. Chances of rain gradually decreases after that. It will be cloudy though. The toss will be a tricky call. The mid match rain may render our spinners less effective in the second innings. Also cloud cover predicted is extremely high throughout the match with temperatures hovering around 17-18 degrees. I just get the feeling that Kohli might play all three seamers and Pandya in this match. Link to comment
