Star Sports was cringe and this one is equally cringy. However, would love to see the same reactions by the Pakistanis after next sunday when they get their asses handed over to them.

Apart from 'Mauka Mauka' all Star ads have backfired.

 

Aane Do, Angrezo ki Pungi, Bacha ab Bacha nehi raha, Australia series Baby sitting Ad - all backfired.

 

May be a teenager handling ads department in Star Sports.

Bacha was fine. Aane do was acceptable imo but Aussie thing was right on the line cause it was childish but this pak Baap thing crossed line. Yes after mauka mauka i was hoping for something innovative but to carry on same theme 4 yrs later that too insulting manner was plain poor. I bet we could have come up with something better.

Mauka mauka was irresponsible. If Australia and England make fun of each other it's because they are siblings at the end of the day. England is the older sibling who thinks it is very superior and Australia the younger sibling wants to make a point. But come WWiii or if aliens attack earth, you can be rest assured that both these countries will be on the same side. 

 

Whereas, India and Pakistan are arch rivals, with the latter having terrible hatred against India running through its veins. How can you make fun of them and assume that they will laugh it off.

This ad is still better and has a funny side to it, star sports ad is simply cringeworthy, though nothing can beat the original mauka ad, it was a masterpiece..i am sure even Pakistanis saw the funny side and enjoyed it. The star sports "baap" ad should be banned immediately as its smells of chauvanism.

There is something called crossing the line in creativity/humor. THis is a recent sensitive issue where many people died, is nothing to joke about. In this case of idiotic showmanship, Pakistanis proved to be a bigger bewakoofs than Indians. It was good in 2015, Mauka Mauka is tiresome now.

just in the same forum, there are scores of joes here calling some random dalit people monkies, but you expect everyone to be outraged with you by this? lol Abhinandan is tamil rite or born in TN so yeah he is used to be called out for his dark skin so no worries rain off a buffalo back.
