Well apparently PCB will be searching for a replacement coach & selector post WC. Another ‘rebuilding’ phase.

Pakistan cricket needs a culture of excellence and meritocracy. Very hard to do that in a country running on corruption and military mafia rule.

I think Fakhar should lead the side...he is a hack, but seems like the only bastman playing the modern brand of ODI cricket. He seems to handle pressure decently.

Imad, Shadab, Hafeez, Malik, Sarfaraz, Wahab & Hassan shoudl be axed yesterday. They cannot retain these and claim to eb rebuilding.

The pace stocks are pretty decent, I'm sure they will come good in short order. They need to find genuine spinners and one all rounder. Not bits and pieces players.

But a hack who isn't performing on a regular basis is worst than a guy not playing modern cricket but atleast scoring runs. When your leader fails on a regular basis, others around him will point to him when they fail. Pak will be in all sort of trouble after this WC ends. They might be better off in 2023 WC by rebuilding from scratch.

Not shocking. This bickering is not new as well. An age-old problem in Pakistan cricketing culture. They need a guy like Misbah now. An educated guy with a stable mind. Of all the 0-7 thrashings in the world cup, Misba's XI came close to breaking the streak. Sarfraz has to earn his place first before having meltdowns on the field.

Don't think in 2015 under his leadership they came close to beating us in fact we made 300 while they opened with Yk and Shahzad they were 64-1 in 16 overs before Ash removed Hariss.

Reports of grouping led my Malik against Sarfaraz.

Sarfaraz has let Malik & co know if he goes down then so will they.

Public witnessing them out on Saturday night at a sheesha lounge until early hours of Sunday (2am) causing mass media speculation & hysteria.

Team seen at a burger joint..including bowling coach Azhar Mahmood.

Inzi meddling with team selection.

Sarfaraz not given the team he wanted (wanted to drop Malik & Imad) but Inzi & Mickey apparently refused.

Etc etc etc

Malik is retiring after the WC as it is so why would he be against Sarfaraz?

counterproductive.  Its his coping mechanism because he can't handle the stress and the job of leading the team.  Its what happens when someone unqualified is 'kicked upstairs'.  CT fluke cursed greenbros and saddled them with this sub-par wicket-keeper, who is a sub-sub-par batsman, and made him undroppable.  Pak board looked at "Inddiya" and said, they have a Dhoni, why can't we have a Sarfraz.  Didn't work.

Problem for them now is that thorough housecleaning is unavoidable.  Sarfraz gotta go - Hafeez should go, but probably doesn't want to.  Malik is hardworking but way past his sellby date.  They better not make poor Babar the captain, as it is, he's barely a decent batsman, making him captain will doom him.  Can't make a former fixer captain in Amir.  Hassan is turning out to be a one year wonder.  Wahab is running on his last fumes.  Shadab is too young and threatening to turn into a greenbro imitation piyush chawla.  Imam has the nepotism monkey on his back, and too new.  Haris Sohail is a decent bat, but has no heart, and is prone to believing in jadoo-tona and shys away from a tough game.  Imad Wasim?  ODI Captain?  Maybe the only option, but that guy is another liability in waiting.  ODI cricket is not kind to finger spinners, and it would be basically replacing a liability captain with another one.

Maybe a temporary captain in Malik or Hafeez for a few months, schedule a few series with Ireland, Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea, and then ease in a new captain into the role for 2023.

What will happen to the coach and Selector Aloo though?

Arrey bhai, kya faida suggestion deke, in logon ko dubne do aur mazaa chakho.

hafeez won't leave. he debuted in the 1990s in FC and will probably play until the 2030s. Only way to make him leave is by having an attack of rabada, archer, starc, cummins and bumrah bowl to him in the 1980s WACA pitch until he squeals for mercy and retires.

as for the pak ODI captain, Amir would have been a good choice if not for his fixer past. Forker is an option, but he does not strike me as a capable captain. My belief is that they should give Imad Wasim the captaincy - I think he captained at U19 and state levels. Have him be an interim capn for a few yrs until Babar is ready to assume the mantle. Wasim strikes me as a solid, albeit limited, cricketer with a reasonably level head and decent understanding of his limitations. he is playing as a bowling AR but he should be batting at 6 (or even 5) IMO. Has a FC avg of 40+ (which not many greenbros have) and his ODI record is also decent. On a different note, wonder what happened to Fawad Alam. Guy looked better than Babar if one compares first 3 tests of both, and then vanished into thin air. was also decent in ODIs albeit too slow for the modern game.

So Sania just went ahead and shamed other person for a magazine cover ...wtf

Well, I do not know why Veena is discussing Sania kids on twitter in the first place and insinuating that they are being put at risks .... Moms are likely to get angry at that .... If Veena was so worried, she should have inquired in private
