zen
With Dhawan, Ind's best batsman in ICC events, out of the tournament, the spotlights shifts to Rohit, Kohli, and Dhoni to perform. All 3 have had decent knocks whether in the round robin games or warm-ups so the question of being out of form does not arise. Rohit will need to not only provide brisk starts depending upon conditions (and w/ KL still settling in) but also play big knocks (which is not mutually exclusive) Kohli will need to continue to anchor one end up, rotate the strike, and get bad balls away. Then can go into the destructive mode as well when required Dhoni can put his hand up for the #4 slot, where his "experience" can be useful SK_IH 1 Link to comment
zen
Vs. Afg, Kohli did well. Rohit received no chance, while Dhoni played an inning that went nowhere .... Need to pull up the socks! Link to comment
SK_IH
Dhoni has to step up, he cannot be a liability in a two man batting lineup Link to comment

Anything lower, there is a risk of momentum being sucked out of the Ind inning Link to comment
