zen
Worst selection is based on options available to a team. I am not sure what options other teams had. SA for e.g. was hit by injuries and Kolpak. Therefore, have gone with Vijay Shankar Edited June 23, 2019 by zen coffee_rules 1 Link to comment

Therefore, have gone with Vijay Shankar A no 4 in ODI, should be able to bat through the innings from overs 15-40 (or even 45), and with inching the scorecard and some late order hitting. In that aspect, VS is the worst pick for that role for the WC! Why can't Mr. Senior Advisory board chairman play that role to perfection when he did in 2011 WC Final? Aukat Aukat ki baat hain! India has a big hole in #4. Dhawan's infury made it worse. Edited June 23, 2019 by coffee_rules Link to comment

chewy
Has to be Malik, a guy who made his debut last century, played over 400 int matches, has bang average stats, yet manages to sneak into Pak XI every ICC event. Pak could have dumped after found guilty of chucking. He never bats in tough top order 1,2,3 or 4. Hides in lower middle. This Haris guy is so many levels ahead of Malik. He probably has political connections PS. Before WI-NZ, the other worst selection would have been Carlos Braithwaithe coffee_rules 1 Link to comment

Tattieboy
Moeen Ali , brainless batsman under pressure and very expensive off break bowler , seems to me, in ODI he gets games because he is popular guy in the dressing room coffee_rules 1 Link to comment
