sage
It was a manufactured crisis against the worst team in the WC. No other team in this tournament would bat like that. You think England, Australia, NZ or any team for that matter would go into crisis mode and score at 3 rpo at 3 down? I trust England at 6 down to do better than India at 3 down with Rohit/Kohli out. nevada
They should have sent in Kedar instead of Dhoni. He has the knack for nudging the ball here and there to keep the scoreboard ticking. With him at the other end, Kohli might not have been pressured into a false shot. I don't understand the point of pushing Dhoni up the order in all kinds of situations. Top 3 bat well, Dhoni comes in ahead of specialist batsmen. Wickets fall a bit early, Dhoni comes in ahead of specialist batsmen. If he is always going to come up the order, why even have specialist batsmen in the team then? This knee-jerk reaction of sending in Dhoni early has to stop. His calm presence is definitely useful while fielding but he is not needed at the batting crease too much. Gollum 1 Link to comment

Rightarmfast
The best place for Dhoni in the team is, in the dugout area. Max as a consultant, from where he can give his invaluable advises! beetle 1 Link to comment

Valuable advice to bowl a yorker once the match is over and the #11 batsman is at the crease and the bowler is already aiming for a yorker Rasgulla, Gollum, Rightarmfast and 2 others 1 3 1 Link to comment
