I hope a team scores 350 against us in one of the remaining league matches

Very keen to see how our team goes about a high run chase we had a deer in the headlights moment during the Champions Trophy in the final and I'd rather we confront such a situation now. How will our openers play the first 10 overs, how will our middle order do - was the Afghan batting purely high IQ adapativeness to the tough pitch and circumstances or can they really not score faster than 4 RPO? I hope for this team we encounter this challenge before the knockouts.

Iirc, highest scores batting 2nd is in 330s by Eng and BD

The pitches/conditions (ICC’s  guidance) at many of the venues have led to sub 300 scores. Therefore, it would depend upon the surface they play at

They still need to win two more matches first.

Some moronic people wanted Indian openers to emulate England's openers style. India does not need 350 plus scores and with Dhawan out, I don't think India is capable of scoring 350 plus.

What they need is solid openeing partnership followed by Kohli batting till 50th over blocking one end.Chasing will become more and more difficult as pitches get more won out.

Excellent experiment concluded. Everything occurred just as planned. More disappointed than anything, would have liked Thala to surprise me but he's an uber mug as usual. All I hope this game does is give a dosage of reality to all his Bhakts while Nasser and Saurav humiliated him
