That boy has muscle as well as decent strike rotation game plus a left hander which we desperately need in middle order. Link to comment

Selectors should've picked Nitish Rana who at least is a big hitter & can bowl spin. 13 minutes ago, rkt.india said: He has a huge short ball problem. Agreed! Glaring problem with short balls. And also is an inferior shot maker compared to Pant and Pandya. The lesser said about his bowling, the better. Don't think we have anyone better than Jadeja for the role atm. Krunal, Axar and Sundar are all inferior options atm. Vijy, vaul and Mosher 3 Link to comment

Rabada was a flop in the WC, Archer got tonked for 15 yesterday and Starc went for 73 against us. Just because they may get hit is no reason to call them average or below average when even the very best are leaking runs. No more testing Saini. If he is bowling 150+, he should be in the team over Bhuvi or Shami. Period. There are maybe 8-10 bowlers in the world ATM bowling at that pace, why should we waste him on these "A" matches. But guess what, that's exactly what we'll do and then bring him in when he is hurt or post injury, bowling in low 140s and claim he was never any good. Stupid Indian selectors. Sorry, but he needs to toil for a couple of more years in domestics. Then, he should be introduced into the team on absolute road pitches as part of a character building process. Then, when he gets thrashed, he can be anointed as another failure and discarded. It worked for Siraj, Pankaj Singh and many other fast bowlers. Jimmy Cliff, Vijy and sergio04 1 1 1 Link to comment
express bowling
Saini bowled a really quick ball in his 2nd over. It was stump directed, hit the pad and the batsman fell down. LBW should have been given. Suhaan and Mosher 2 Link to comment

He is about 10 km/h faster than any you've mentioned. Consistently. If there was ever a case for a bowler to be fast tracked in India, this is it. rock777 1 Link to comment

express bowling
Saini has been unlucky today in the sense that he has conceded atleast 9 runs via overthrows and edges ... and a plumb LBW was turned down. But he has bowled a couple of very hitable half volleys too. Mosher, Nikola and Suhaan 1 2 Link to comment
express bowling
Avesh traps the batter LBW with a really quick ball that seams in. He has looked sharp. How does he get to warm the benches while trundler D.Chahar plays all the games. !! Mosher and cowboysfan 2 Link to comment
Sandeep99
Man, Avesh is bowling with some fire.. I am imagining Saini, Khaleel, and Avesh bowling in tandem..Wow! Please select these 3 for the next tour! express bowling, Mosher and Vilander 3 Link to comment

Answer: the Dhoni effect, whereby the selection of half-assed trundlers who are "accurate" (which they are not) over genuine pace bowlers with potential is favored. nsareen
Avesh bowled well today, Saini was a bit off. Comfortable win for India. They are not getting tested in this series at all. India A needs to visit SENA countries to be more effective than these tours.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment

He is already playing FC cricket for last 5 years, India A 2 years. It's not fast tracked. Fast tracked was Khaleel, already played for India at 21 without much FC experience. Link to comment
