ShoonyaSifar
Sudden retirement announcement by Ambatti Rayudu. Must be hurt at not being considered as replacement despite being in the group of standby players. From being a shoe in for number 4 slot confirmed by Kohli just 4 months back, poor guy is now retired. Terrible handling of a player by the captain, coach and selectors despite his shortcomings. Sad way to end a career. sage, Suhaan, Jimmy Cliff and 7 others 4 3 3 Link to comment

Popular Post Gollum
Good riddance, otherwise with Kohli at the helm and corrupt CSK lobby you never know. Throughout his playing career he has been a selfish prick, right from ICL days till deliberately running out his competitor(s) earlier this year. Won't miss him, let him enjoy playing in the tamasha league and abusing random old people on the streets. ShoonyaSifar
Guess the 3D tweet cost him his career. Else he was in the standby list along with Pant and would have been called as Shankar's replacement. I do hope he comes out in the media and spills the beans on the way the whole thing was mishandled by the team management and selectors. velu, ViruDilSeKhelo and Unstable Joe 1 2 Link to comment

His joke is okay in a private WhatsApp group but not for public consumption. One of those act in haste, repent in leisure acts that will live on in history for sure. He has now retired to get some attention while the world cup is still on and essentially protest against being bypassed as a reserve player. He is a mediocre player who should never have been in consideration for the #4 spot but Kohli unnecessarily anointed him as the chosen one only to puncture the balloon when the time came. It is strange that Rayadu's weakness was clearly called out by ICF'ers years ago but Kohli was blind to them for so long. Supporting a mediocre player is as bad as cutting lose a talented new player. Kohli is guilty of doing both - a truly "well rounded" captain. saik, Suhaan, ViruDilSeKhelo and 2 others 1 4 Link to comment

CoverDrive
He gets a lot of hate but his story is kind of complicated. He was considered a serious talent in his early days in early 2000s but was screwed over by BCCI and Shivalal Yadav in particular. ICL gave him a lifeline and he was one of leading Indian talents there. His good run there led to him being selected by Mumbai Indians which revived his career. I think not graduating to top levels early in career meant he never evolved and was limited kind of player who somehow did ok but could never produce breakthrough performances. nevada, ViruDilSeKhelo, AK007 and 3 others 6 Link to comment
asterix
What was his “3-D” Tweet? I missed it. All the best to him in any of his future endeavours. He won’t be missed in any form of Indian cricket. He was lucky to win 2 IPL titles back to back. Link to comment
