coffee_rules
Unless SA beats Aus (least likely) and India beats SL (most likely), it is almost certain that Aus - NZ in Manchester India - Eng in Birmingham Or as ICC designs ... India - NZ in Manchester Aus - Eng in Birmingham Birmingham is the same ground where Eng won against India and India won against BD. NZ and Pak won chasing under-250 score. Manchester is preferable for India, they won two matches there , Pak and WI posting big first inninga totals. Link to comment
chewy
Ideally in SF, India vs NZ or Aus would have been good NZ have two main threats, Williamson and Lockie, the rest are average Aus have been overhyped and overrated as usual, this Aus team is bang average except for Starc and Smith, Smith is out of form. England are WC favourites, if India get past England in SF, then winning final will be formality will either Aus or NZ posing little threat Link to comment
chewy
India will need spin options in Bham, therefore either Jadhav or Jadeja will.need to play I think Bhuvi, Shami and Bumrah all should play Better extra pressure on Rohit and Kohli to bat long periods Link to comment
cowboysfan
i think the venues are decided already,we will play at Birmingham unless SA beats the aussies. Link to comment

coffee_rules
So, thanks to SA, Manchester it is, for India. Same as today’s SA Aus match. Hope Kohli wins toss, pay attention, ICC! Damp pitch, We have to go with a 6th bowling option, Jadeja or Jadhav, I will go with Shami over Bhuvi as he can take wickets. MCcricket 1 Link to comment

Did I say, it matters. So far in this matchup, only NZ has not won against any other 3, Aus, Ind and Eng have beaten one of the other two. I predict a India v/s Eng final. cowboysfan 1 Link to comment
jf1gp_1
NZ did beat the hell out of us in practice game. Everyone seems excited that we play NZ as if we are already in finals. Bolt can rip us apart in one spell. Link to comment

Bolt can rip us apart in one spell. he needs the conditions to work in his favor (in general). also, we have faced him once. so, we just need to be careful over the first 10 overs and also handle lockie carefully. Yes true none of this nonsense matters. Its basically how u play on that day. None of the players would even remember the 4 Semifinalists of 2011 leave alone 75 and 79... All these statistics are for commentators to fill in their repetitive BS especially Manjerekar and Harsha Link to comment
