I had to attend a meeting in the vicinity and was held up for nearly an hour in my car coz the cops were not letting traffic pass on that stretch because these guys were doing a dharna on the road right outside the hotel. Actually, the root is dynastic politics. Ultimately for dynasty parties, the loyalty is solely driven by power. Thus, without power, Congress and many dynasty regional parties are losing support. They aren't driven by cadre like BJP. BJP in 2009 was in a worse situation than today of Congress, yet it remain united due to strong cadre, and ideology. Blame dynastic politics for their struggles today really. And this South India, and specifically Wayanad elected a Rahul Gandhi. This Rahul don't know anything about the culture, language, and probably even didn't know Wayanad existed before this year. So this North/South divide is plain foolish.... Despite not having the required numbers, they still kept power for the last 3 weeks. What happened to the courts and their overnight hearings? And the speaker himself allowed it to happen, and the media stood silent and didn't put one single question on this greed of power of this alliance....
