When will they announce the new coaching staff?  And if they choose another guy, will we have another press conference to introduce him?  It is bizarre that they have a press conference with the captain and one of the applicants for the coaching job.  Technically, RJS' tenure ended after CWC2019, did it not?  It is a mockery of the application process, IMO.

With Shastri continuing as coach we should forget our chances of winning ICC tournaments . If there are questions asked about the lapses by the team in key moments he would reply with copy-paste answers of - champion players, consistency over the last few seasons, top ICC rankings held by our players. Does an excellent job of putting paper over the cracks.
Along with that we have a captain who thinks that losing by a scoreline of 4-1 isn't actually getting outplayed. May god help us all

At 12.20 in this video,Kohli said Jinx(Rahane) averages 43 in test.Actually,current average of Rahane is 40.55.

Moreover,no one asked about non-selection of Gill.

And Kohli bhai tu to rehne de, As I already have said in some other thread, He has surpassed Dhoni in being the biggest fraudster. He is saying if he doesnt like anyone, everyone can see it on his face, then why he was advocating Smith and asking people to stop booing when he already said bad about them 2 years ago. And about praising each other, I have never seen Rohit praising Kohli on top of his chest.

 

He even said same about Kumble before CT17 when speculation were there about rift between them but Brandu Popat was scared and was giving scripted answers given by his manager. He was using this word"it baffles me" at that time also. And then fattu sacked Kumble after CT fiasco citing other players weren't happy with him, too. 

 

These 2 are the worst cricketing mafia at present.

Some really unconvincing answers from Kohli. Asia Cup and all those series he missed earlier in the build up to the WC were not important as he needed ‘rest’ but suddenly this WI series 2 weeks after the WC has become important!!

 

Plus all those diplomatic answers about the rift were cringeworthy. He definitely knows it. Rohit will be on his target list now, expect the same ugliness that we had seen with Dhoni-Sehwag and Dhoni-Gambhir. Rohit’s fitness will be under attack through selective leaks.

Rjs was given 45 day extension till end of WI tour

I hope the selectors grow a pair and reinstate Kumble as the coach again, that will be quite a slap on Kohli's face. But that is wishful thinking I believe.

what did well... they are loosing all major even ever since kohli is captain... they lost test in sa , they lost 4-1 against eng only saving grace was winning against aus b, they lost ct final in a most humiliating manner and lost agin in wc sf. You can be  happy with all the biletral series odi victory and dance but the fact of the matter is kohli is not capable enough of winning any tournament and also is a biggest choker we ever had in any crucial matches.
