Why top order collapse happens only against us?

My point is why does top order collapse happens mostly against us? Why can't we do same against opposition batsman? Both teams are in pressure at big stages. We have lost last 2 out of 3 big odi events to minor side compared with us. (Pak 2017 & NZ 2019).

So why can't our bowlers do same against opposition?

1. Bhuvi who bowls with new ball has picked 0 wickets in powerplays in the whole worldcup! neither i remember him running through any side in last 5 years.

2. Hardik Pandya is our 3rd seamer so pressure generated through early wickets isn't maintained.

3. Spinners failing in key tournaments. (Ash & jaddu in 2017, Kul-Cha now)

4. Bumrah hasn't picked alot early wickets in powerplay. Won't blame him but he can improve bit more in powerplay or wicket taking ability.

More importantly, a top order impacts us so badly because our middle order is pathetic. Kohli has assembled an RCB-like team where the top 3 always save the middle order's sorry ass. And the only time the middle order has to come out and play for long is when there is a top order collapse.. and then they blame the top order saying that the middle order can't do much when you are 5/3.

Usually the simplest/easiest reason/explanation is the most logical/correct one, which is - they aren't good enough! Remember Zak - the infamous meltdown against Gilly in the first over of 2003 - the one which led to a massive loss, or how Tamim flayed him in 2007 while chasing? The fact is our bowlers have never been able to match the best from the rest, in high pressure games or throughout their career. We have no one who'll ever come close to Warne or Mcgrath, that's not just because we've seen these 2 demolish oppositions in their home like other but also because we (sometimes) set our expectations too high. Kuldeep may get close to Warne's intl tally, so might Bumrah with Mcgrath however they'll never do a repeat of SF vs WI in 96 or the SF, finals in 1999 so don't set yourself up for disappointment!

Our batters have won us games for eons & they'll continue to do so, when our batting fails we inevitably lose & that's not a patch on them it's just the reality!
