I don't think match is more important than life / heath . stewie wanted that 100.. badly. it's that greed for runs which is rare these days. he's someone who'll put his health on the line for those extra runs; it's foolish, but also rather uncommon. I agree. When the protocol calls for checking for concussion the next day also, it doesn't make sense to send an injured player in prior to that. Langer had mentioned that Smith was adamant about going back to get his name on the Lords honors board and he let him go. If the rules were stricter and make it mandatory for players to sit out till 2 concussion checks at-least, then this type of situation could have been avoided. Vijy 1 Link to comment
