Gollum
Yesterday she beat the great Tai Tzu and today the Chinese number 1 Chen Yufei. This woman is something else, sustained success, consistency, elite athleticism and the ability to get to business end of big events irrespective of pre-tournament form/seeding. Indian female GOAT sportsperson. All hail PV Sindhu, up next Intanon or Okuhara. PS: Sai Praneeth lost his SF to #1 Momota but a great show nonetheless. Prannoy got knocked out by Momota earlier but he beat Lin Dan before that. Our men's doubles team is shaping up well. Thank you Gopi !!!! nikred
She is an amazing athlete. This is what good coaching setup can produce. At 179 cm, she is freakin tall for an Indian woman. With those long limbs she definitely has big advantage over her opponents. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Saina is close to 30 now...past her prime...she wasn't talented as opposed to Sindhu who also has additional height benefits...when Saina was in prime she faced stiff competition from Chinese girls nd they were force to reckon with... Li xurei,Wang yihan,Wang shixian etc...she is torch bearer of our recent badminton success...Sindhu is just more talented than her...

Women's Badminton has lot more diverse competition currently than say 6-7 years ago when it was just plain Chinese domination. TA Chinese player hasn't won Gold Medal in Women's singles in like 7 years I think.. Sindhu always played well vs Chinese players...even when Saina in her prime was struggling to beat the top Chinese players, Sindhu was able to beat the top Chinese players in World Championships when she was 18, 19 yrs old in 2013,2014. That's why she ended up winning a medal at World Championships(when she was 18 in 2013) earlier than Saina who was struggling a lot vs Chinese players in big tournaments. I would say that Sania is more consistent than Sindhu but Sindhu's ceiling is much higher. Sindhu is always inconsistent during majority of the tournaments in the year but then she always raises her game during the big tournaments. That's basically been the story of her career so far. Reaching atleast final in World Championships/Olympics for 4 straight years is amazing big tournament consistency, considering how competitive Women's Singles has been recently Gollum
coffee_rules
https://www.deccanherald.com/sports/this-is-my-answer-to-those-who-questioned-me-sindhu-756970.html Congratulations to the champion. Why would anybody question somebody who has reached last 3 finals? She should just let her racquet do the talking and not respond to critics. Gopichand has done a lot of great service to Indian sports It is sad to see guys like Ravi Shastri make millions of $$$ for freeloading while the real coaches don’t get any recognition. Not speaking about Gopichand though because he gets enough recognition now but all the other coaches out there Gollum
