Gilly , what a player. I think his' was a chanceless innings, paradoxical considering the kind of player he was. Aus had great players who used to perform at crunch in that era, Warne/Gilly/Waugh etc. I have heard stories of WI dominance but witnessed the Aussie supremacy first hand, so for me they will always be best ever cricket team. Too much talent there.

Well unlike Oz the Windies also lost talent to the rebel tours. Their bowling was superior & they batted well on most surfaces, Oz actually wasn't that good in India even at their peak. For that Windies will be the GOAT side ever IMO.

IMO WI is the GOAT side too.Their fast bowling will dominate any Aussie side , unless it is turning track.
