Sumit Kumar: Promising All-rounder

Good all-rounders are hard to be found in domestic cricket.Sumit Kumar is 24 year old all-rounder from Haryana who has started domestic cricket in 2019 and has been very impressive so far,to be kept eye on.Following are his stats so far:

Watched his batting and bowling in current SMAT- looks impressive.Technically,his batting fundamentals are strong-picks line and length early and middles the ball superbly.Also he can play ball late.Has good physique and hits effortless sixes.Though his bowling speed is around 120 ,but he has excellent control over line and length.Hopefully,he will be selected for IPL.If he performs well in IPL,which I believe he can,based on his sound technique,he will be in contention for India A and senior team one day.

Azim Kazi is another new all-rounder who has performed well in white ball cricket in domestic.

what his batting style ??? Hitter or proper batsman......any videos

If 120 is his speed- then he ll have to earn place on batting prowess. At 120k speed batsman make their own line n length

Haryana can easily produce many 150+ kph bowler but youth of haryana villages mostly play kabbadi or kushti.

He is a proper batsman who starts off slowly but can accelerate when required.His s/r of around 140 in t20 is indicative of that.On hotstar you can watch him in videos of Haryana in SMAT.He scored 228 runs at s/r 84.44,with 2 fifties,in group B of Vijay Hazare.In same group Dhawan scored around 130 at s/r of around 62.Which indicate that he can bat in tough conditions.

Most of fast bowlers are getting smashed in super league of SMAT,he is probably most effective medium pacer.He bowled Pant out in Haryana vs Delhi match.He does not give room to cut/pull as he mostly bowls stumps directed cutters.

Though sample size of his stats is small but it is impressive so far.Next step for him would be IPL,considering the probability that he would be selected.Also he may be selected for Ranji squad.He definitely has talent and scope of improvement,considering his sound batting technique.
