Stop Comparing our youngsters to WI youngsters in terms of power game, those guys are genetically better for that role

Another diff....look how our tm has criticised pant. We hve dropped him n rahul in a format where they were doing well

Look how hetymer has been persisted despite being so shitty for a long time.

A lot of the problem is with the coach and captain and their arrogant man management. Our near full strength team is getting beaten by SA and WI missing so many regulars. SL will thrash us next month as well.

Nearly 10-12 T20s would have been wasted due to reluctance of big two to take rest completely and continued pathetic backing of our kaptaan’s friends. No wonder we are at no. 5 in T20s and could soon be 6 or 7.

I understand we lack power. But when it comes to timing we were always superior. Guys like Rohit sharma, Yuvraj singh, Pandya are great timers. At this point they don't wait for the ball. They indulge in too many pre-meditated shots. They should look at Raina's batting in the last overs. He rarely premeditates. At best he would give room. But he would still play accordingly. Watch Yuvi/Raina going nuts. In the last 5 overs Raina made 50

Our poor bowling made Windies power hitters look better than they actually are.  Let's not forget that Windies are languishing at the buttom of t20 ranking for very long time (with these so called power hitters)

WI play most T20s without their regulars. Gayle, Charles, Bravo, Russel, Brathwaite will all be back for T20 WC.

Pooran averages 40 in list A cricket and has a strike rate of 144 in T20 cricket. He’s a very special white ball cricketer for WI considering he’s a wicket keeper as well. I have seen his keeping for KXIP in IPL and he’s much better than Pant with the gloves.

Pooran’s batting looks so much more solid and dependable than Pant as well. The guy has all the shots in the book and relies more on timing rather than brainless hoicks like Pant. Anyone with 1% of cricket knowledge can see that Pooran is a way better white ball batsman than Pant.

We dont lack it but WI are better then us....

Bangladesh lacks power hitter.

Rohit is a timer

Yuvi had a combo of power n timing

Pandya power player

Raina also had the gift of timing

Rahul iyer can do that job let these guys settle.

Raina's major strength was placement. He could hit the ball through unusual areas. Even if it is a miscue it will land safely. He had this incredible confidence he could take on any bowler. Even the best bowler in the end overs.

10-20 matches men nhin decide hota who is better. If such short samples was taken kambli number at start outshined tendulkar....

Many ppl thought kaif will go ahead of yuvi when he won us natwest. Some i remeber even thought mongia will go ahead of yuvi when he scored 159 and did well in WI to

Also pooran has backing of WI team, pant has been on edge.

Very good point regarding Hetmyer. Lucky to play with average of 14 and sr of 116 in WI side who are world class in this format.

Yes,indeed ,poor guy Pant this team management ditched him when he needed their backing like all young players do

He is batting well within himself

Nobody is talking about Kohli s struggle today ,infact he is all at sea at any number other than  3

He too killed the momentum

Hahahaha I love how you completely ignored my point on List A (Domestic ODI) cricket. So you brought in IPL where even a 40 year old Dhoni bats like Bradman.

Oh so you want to talk about the World Cup? Well did you know that Pooran scored 118 with 4 sixes chasing 339 against Sri Lanka coming in at #5 with his team’s score at 70-3! Here’s the reference: https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8039/scorecard/1144521/sri-lanka-vs-west-indies-39th-match-icc-cricket-world-cup-2019

Just pay close attention when both of them are batting and you can see that Pooran can play shots all around the ground and maintain his shape and not throw his wicket away. Pant is inferior in all 3 of these qualities.

Pant has been on the edge? Really? The guy has played all our LOI matches since the World Cup ended! But I do agree with you that he is a good test cricketer and should never have been dropped for Saha!
