Most of the Indian players at the end of my playing career ate beef : Shahid Afridi on Dunya News

Recommended Posts

Since Aug 5, these pea brained morons have been trying so hard to drive communal divide in India- starting with their disgraceful ex- cricketer PM and now this well-known clown SOB -tells some guy called Mirza Iqbal Baig on Dunya News that most Indian players he knows, even Hindus eat beef. And then he goes on to add that he won't name them, as " they could land in serious trouble because of Modi "

I wish Kohli and these moron Punjabi cricketers in our team have the sense to know that these are filthy snakes we are dealing with.

Never befriend them. Never confide in them. Just treat them as though they are citizens of a terror state.

Sandeep bhai....I watch it for sheer entertainment as there is great comic value in listening  to the delusions that these jokers  have about themselves and their idiotic thought process.

But post Aug 5th, apparently they are all being strongly pushed by ISPR to make communal anti-India comments

I don't think Afretard requires any push.  He has political aspirations for the future, and has a pattern of making such "aggressive" statements.

What is he trying to prove? If he thinks that they have higher morals and they are more observant and religious than I am calling Bull Sh*t on that. It is OK for them to cheat and can be pure but if Indians ate beef there is something very wrong.

Another big problem in their culture is that they think beef gives them an advantage. Beef is a source of protein just like chickken and offers no advantage over chicken. The disadvantage is it is red meat which is not good to eat to begin with.

I have no idea why we have a thread about this. Afridi is just a kid maybe 16 years old. Ignore him.

I wish naive morons like Bhajji, Yuvi and Rat who cozy up to a Pak Punjabi speaking cricketers get some effin shame and see what these filthy rats think about our great country. Our players dont need their beggar cricketers. Their beggar cricketers who abuse Team India, discredit our good performances as IPL bribes are now kissing our backsides to earn their livelihood on Youtube. When will our moron cricketers grow up and understand that there can never be brotherhood with a people that has collectively undergone lobotomy

Beef is one of the best sources of creatin though.makes muscle recovery faster.

You can get creatnin shakes for that without consuming beef. The advantage of beef is iron which is really needed for blood/oxygen/aerobics etc. You can get that in any red meat. Athletes stick to chicken mostly because it is low fat and you get proteins and by definition any protenin will repair your muscles. Eat beef if you enjoy it but it is not necessary.

Protein

Chicken is the go-to protein source for athletes and bodybuilders. But beef also contains a high level of protein and a significant amount of creatine, which helps produce lean muscle much more quickly. The level of protein found in both protein and beef varies, but the differences are minor. However, your body can only absorb 74% of a slab of beef, where as your body can take in 80% of protein in chicken.

Chicken 5/5

Beef 4/5

Fat

For those on a restricted calorie intake, chicken is the way to go. A serving of chicken provides less calories, as well as less cholesterol and saturated fat than beef. With chicken’s lower calorie content, beef packs a hefty punch due to its higher fat content!

Chicken 2/4

Beef 3/4

Versatility

Chicken is the most versatile and adaptable meat. While beef can be used for a variety of occasions also, chicken is normally quicker to prepare and can be baked, barbecued, grilled and roasted. It can be combined with many different foods and is a great base for all kinds of recipes.

Chicken 4/5

Beef 3/5

Nutrients

Beef has a few nutritious advantages over chicken, as it contains more iron and zinc. These substances are essential for our immune systems and brain development. However, chicken is much better for your cardiovascular health, because it has less cholesterol and saturated fat than beef. Studies have also shown that red meat can increase the risk of heart disease.

Chicken 4/5

Beef 3/5

Energy

All meats are great for energy. For short bursts of energy, chicken comes out on top, because white meat is made up of “fast twitch” muscle fibres. On the other hand, red meat is known as “slow twitch”, so it’s ideal for endurance activities. Both chicken and beef enhance energy efficiency in different ways.

Chicken 4/4

Beef 4/4

Winner: Chicken

If you had to pick one, choose chicken! In the end, it lands the killer blow to beef for its superior muscle-building, versatility and key nutrients for cardiovascular health.

Tbf what you've written in this thread is much more embarrassing than anything Afridi might have said.

Yes even my Nepali friends eat buffalo meat. Malayalis eat cow meat though from what I know. Ironically I'm a malayali who eschews all meat save fish(occasionally mutton) lol . Never been big on beef despite the fact that everyone in my extended family loves it.

White meat and fish are both healthy. I am a predominantly vegetarian. I can eat beans/lentils every day for rest of my life. For some reason I am not too fond of meat.

What about eggs?
I once went a whole month without non-veg and the thing I craved the most was eggs.
I love chicken more than eggs but I realized I can stay longer away from chicken than eggs.

Only egg white. No yolks for me. Since the topic is about protein egg white is one of the best sources of proteins.

The thing with yoke is it has cholesterol but i read that momentary spike in blood cholesterol is not that bad.
