The Eu has a law saying you can work only 40 hours a week. Max 50. City of london regularly bends these rules by making employees sign waivers.

Iromically these people are the same people that support being in the eu.

Not necessarily good news for those who work pro-rata ie consultants.

I don't know why Indian Twitterati want to move to Finland though.
This is only for Finnish citizens not migrants.

How will that work out?
If my boss is a citizen and even though I am working 8x5, it would still feel like 6x4.

Actually it is max 48hours calculated as an average over 17 weeks with 11 hours between working shifts .  It is something nearly all employers ( me included ) ask if employees want to opt out of , it is an employee's choice if they sign or not .

Lets not confuse between being seen at work place and actually working. Most Indians work less than 25hrs a week.

Your boss could be very mean and give you a lot of work just before he finishes his 6 hour shift. :dontknow:
