No idea which is the best spin combo

No idea who is the all rounder

No idea who is the 5th bowler

No idea who is the late order hitter

No idea who is 3rd seamer or is it the batting/bowling all rounder

Sometimes it is Rayudu, then Jadhav, then Vijay Shankar, then DK, then Pandey, then Pant, then Iyer, then Dube.

 

 It's fair to say he is by far the worst Indian captain in a long time.

Experimentation means only shuffling the youngsters, moving them up and down  at his whim while ensuring Rohit and Dhawan are not disturbed, more so Dhawan, Jadeja and when fit Bhuvi have a secure place, a musical chair is played between Kuldeep and Chahal and at least one out of Undatkat, Kaul, Chahar or Shardul are always in the team in the name of young pacers.

During his entire tenure of captaincy till date he has only perform experiment and biggest of all was in wc and that too in SF.

• One of the best moves could be to open with Pant 
• I am ok with Kohli's batting either 3 or 4
• Bowling is our strength so it should not be compromised. Need to attack with Bumrah, Saini and Shami. Can accommodate both Kuldeep and Chahal (as batsmen are not setting the stage on fire) 
• Other positions can be adjusted based on the above and form

True that, this lodu did experiments in the WC semi final ffs. That itself should have been the reason for his ouster from captaincy.

I remember last year against Aus at Delhi, he pushed the panic button and made some changes stating that was India's best balanced side. And then played a different combo in the WC opener

We are only getting to see the damage this Captain, Coach and their band of cheer-leading selectors have done to the team in the last 1-2 years. Expecting the cookie to properly crumble in the next 6-9 months in time before the T20 WC. I totally expect Ashwin, Rahane, Dhoni and Shankar to be back in the team, Bhuvi will be back too.

The statement that he made before this game about sandwiching Rahul in at 3 and himself at 4 was a rehash from the year 2018 in England. Of course that series also the experiment lasted 3 T20 matches

Rayudu was India"s no.4 designate against WI in 2018. Pant was 2nd WK during that series. KL Rahul was called as only a backup opener to Rohit and Dhawan.

4 months later KL Rahul became India's no.4 and DK was India's 2nd WK. Thereafter no.4 was adorned by many others like Vijay Shankar, Pant etc. That too in the WC 

This guy had to be booted out a long time ago from captaincy. A perennial loser.

In btw dk became no.4 , then they decided he ll be finisher and in wc when u needed an anchor they send dk who was given finishers role

 

Lets not forget when he said rahane is our no.4 after which he didnt play a single game

Only trophy we will win under him is the test one. Provided we don't choke there either in final. He really should not be skipper in any format but especially dynamic limited overs. He is brainless with selections,  no grooming and not so great tactician. Honestly a team like ours shouldn't be going downhill but it will in limited overs. He's selecting old friends and a naive person when it comes to key decisions and matches. 

 

His conferences are always the same. Optimistic rubbish and praising opposition, he doesn't even realise  he is a bad leader.

Most on this forum won't accept it, but Finch is a walking wicket against Bhuvi.  And Warner doesn't find it easy either.  It would have been different even today if Bhuvi was fit and playing.
