According to social media rumours one or other is to sign for Yorkshire for the upcoming county season. Of course it could all be complete bollocks. Yorkshire to announce a signing over next few days anyway so watch this space

Yes ashwin was excellent in county... I think Nottingham

I thought he failed to make impact except one match where even other spinners ran riot on a spin deck? To be fair Trentbridge or Leeds won’t really help him. He will be useful and can upgrade skills at Taunton maybe. Not sure if somerset has vacancies.

nope he was terrific last season

AFter IPL, we do not play any test matches at all till September. The ODIs/T20s till the T20 WC are with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. 

 

Great opportunity for our Test specialists to play a full season of County Cricket. In fact if Gill, Shaw and Pant are not be picked for the T20 WC, better to allow them to play County Cricket as well. I am sure they will be in demand.

Agreed completely. If Indian team management is sane, they'd help find contracts for Vihari, Gill, Shaw, Siraj, and couple other promising bowlers - Avesh and Nagarkoti/Mavi maybe. We need to start developing our next generation core team already. Pujara, Kohli, Rahane have all crossed 30 and will start to decline very soon.

But as we well know, Indian team management is anything but sane. Chutyas of the highest order.

Very pleased and looking forward to watching him during hopefully a long hot dry summer (yeah right as if that’s happening lol) when pitches are in his favour. Guessing it’s the end for Rashid as a red ball player though
