China will now face extreme resistance in their OBOR ,BRI projects from at least Iran and Italy. These projects along with a lot more have come to a halt and inflicting monetary losses for china in billions .

Not sure if trade routes and trade deals will remain as cosy with the European market as it was in the past .

Japan ,I heard ,have already slashed chinese meat and other essential goods import by 35% .

It's time to slowly isolate china and put sanctions if possible ,looks tough though

Well, the world did try to isolate Germany after World War 1. And we know what followed later..

WTF comparison is that ? You think this will get anywhere close to disarming China or occupying it for not complying with reparations ?

The world has changed, invasions do not happen by entering enemy territory physically alone but by economically damaging them. You think China will go apologetic even after sanctions against them? This is CCP, being nice is not an option.

may be a wrong thread, but I remembered about the plague in Surat and some speculation that it was caused by an experiment from CDC which went wrong. I remember my dad buying some strips of amoxycillin (antibiotic)

And you think Russia/Iran/Korea play nice with sanctions ? It's the same stuff all around, nothing new & in no way comparable to the treaty of Versailles.

This one has the potential to be much more severe if US is unsuccessful in containing the virus spread. Most economics professors from top schools already rate this event ahead of 9/11 and 2008 market crash in terms of severity of impact on American society.

Let's hope things do not escalate but Americans are notorious for not going soft. The revenge these guys took for Pearl Harbour bombing and 9/11 itself are examples.

Those were actual wars, whether against a nation state or terror groups. Unless this is proven to be a planned attack by the CCP, it will at best be similar to how US dealt with Russia. The economic ramifications will be much bigger though in this case.

Nah, the politicians & bureaucrats as well as major businesses, middlemen will lap up the Chinese bribes in double time after this is over! Make no mistake China would not be in a position where it is now without the help of these cucks, same goes for many of our countrymen especially those who dodge taxes using Aliexpress via the gift (import) route :whack:

These MFers are worse than Vibhishan, at least he was fighting for "Dharma" as opposed to these greedy, slimy, corrupt, selfish *wits :whack2:

Yeah I agree ,these Chinese have heavy stocks in these countries in various technological fields,be it the central bank of china or other public and private players ,so it wont be an easy task for them to directly oppose .

They will have to do that indirectly through EU or take help of other big countries

some news round doing China is hiding a death toll of 40,000 in Wuhan!

can't be credible, surely can't hide this from 11 million Wuhan citizens.

already China government trying to suppress the video of Dr. Ai Fen (btw who has disappeared)

while death tolls just keep increasing in Europe and USA, this Chinese flu is looking worse than ever.

Also even though lock down on Wuhan residents lifted they can't leave the city, clashes erupted when the they tried to leave Wuhan

Why not, it is China after all lest you forgotten the cultural revolution or Tienanmen square? There's Hitler, Stalin or even Genghiz Khan on one hand & then CCP on another :smokin:

UN is spineless with the veto powers of its 5 SC members. The only body that could have countered China strongly is NATO and that has been weakened post the collapse of USSR. With Trump in charge, that is less likely but not impossible.

do

not

trust

the Chinese.

The 'lab accident' theory has weight.  It would explain why CCP intentionally started spreading the bat-soup eating videos in December/January on Social Media.  Why would the CCP make such an effort to spread a video that shows a Chinese person with disgusting food habits? To create a cover story so that they can escape blame.

Quote

To be clear: U.S. intelligence officials think there’s no evidence whatsoever that the coronavirus was created in a laboratory as a potential bioweapon. Solid scientific research demonstrates that the virus wasn’t engineered by humans and that it originated in bats.

But how did the outbreak occur? Solving this medical mystery is important to prevent future pandemics. What’s increasingly clear is that the initial “origin story” — that the virus was spread by people who ate contaminated animals at the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan — is shaky.

Scientists have identified the culprit as a bat coronavirus, through genetic sequencing; bats weren’t sold at the seafood market, although that market or others could have sold animals that had contact with bats. The Lancet noted in a January study that the first covid-19 case in Wuhan had no connection to the seafood market.
