Could an all-time Indian IPL XI beat this collection of foreigners? Would be a great game.

 

Best ever IPL foreigner XI:

1. David Warner

2. Chris Gayle

3. AB de Villiers+

4. Shane Watson

5. Jacques Kallis

6. Kieron Pollard

7. Dwayne Bravo

8. Andre Russell

9. Sunil Narine

10. Rashid Khan

11. Lasith Malinga

 

Narrowly missing out:

Brendon McCullum, Morne Morkel, Imran Tahir, Albie Morkel, Shane Warne, Adam Gilchrist, Jos Buttler.

 

Malinga and narine would almost erase 8 of your 20 overs. If you play them out, you'll have to score 10+ off the others, which isn't that easy. If you attack them, they will get you out.

Warner and gayle are probably the ideal opening combination. Warner attacks from ball 1, gayle takes his time to set. If one of them gets going. I'm not sure if there's ever been an indian bowler who could consistently dismiss these two batsmen.

Then you have AB, watson, pollard, strike rate monsters. They'll walk in and kill your spinners and medium pacers from ball 1.

 

This team will be hard to to beat.

Batting lineup is great though. Buttler is the next warner.

not only he won IPL, he lead from front, team looked united under him, won pressure games, was aggresive, he still handles SRH in a big way
