In the case when two dopesters fail the test and don't play in world cup which looks more and more likely every passing day; word is thugs have failed third dope test. So now should their victory in one, odi and one test in sa be annulled forthwith.

Re: What to make out of pakistan's performance in sa Credit must be given where it is due. Pakistan arrived in South Africa high on confidence and till the third test began were matching South Africa blow for blow. they might have lost the first test, but the passion and zeal they displayed in the second test was typical pakistan. but there upon a slide began. i think the turning point was the first ODI which they lost devastatingly and though they won the second, it was a bit of toss up. Notice that when india played, we arrived low on confidence and yet put up a good show in the ODIs. had it not been for justin kemp, the scoreline of 4-0 might have been a bit more balanced. we certainly have our poor fielding to blame for losing two of the ODIs. thereupon when the test matches began, while our bowling was unrelentingly brilliant, improper strategy got the better of us. in the second test, which we should have salvaged, we crumbled not because of pressure but for reasons that are more psychological than those revolving around skill. i think its one of those places we still need work. we are not vulnerable but somehow oppositions are able to tear into us through the slightest chink in our armor. in summary, pakistan were victims of their own shortcomings and we were victims of our own lack of strategy. there was really no need to disturb the opening partnership in the second innings of the third test, but we got a bit too ahead of ourselves. tsk tsk!
