Yuvraj4Captaincy
Is it because they are the most expensive franchise and thus given the right? or for some other reason. I think it would have been better if played on the home grounds of the team competing with the homeground being of the team with more points and better run rate. I agree with your idea: I think it would have been better if played on the home grounds of the team competing with the homeground being of the team with more points and better run rate. I think it would have been better if played on the home grounds of the team competing with the homeground being of the team with more points and better run rate. so I want to pre-book my tickets and leave it at the last moment? Doesn't work that way. Mumbai is BCCI headquarters, if it was Dalmiya, would have been eden gardens.. Yes, there's a little bias here
Sachinism
Its probably to showcase the new ground the semi-finals are at Wankhede so we can have run-fests on the baby sized playing field

Mumbai is BCCI headquarters, if it was Dalmiya, would have been eden gardens.. Yes, there's a little bias here Why not? The semifinals and the finals would have sold out like hot cakes within a day once decided which teams get to the semis and then finals and which homegrounds they will be playing at. It would have definately been more fun and the team with more points and if tied, better run rate, rewarded for their efforts .
