satishg
yep he surely deserves a spot in our playing 11..he is a very very very gud talent..
Cricketics
even though i am not a big fan of uthappa, his batting order is being played a lot in one game he is asked to come down the order like on no. 6-7 in the other game they ask him to open or come in middle order. he has done reasonably well with such stuff happening to him. he scored a good fighting fifty in aus too and deserved to play for India during that aus tour
fineleg
Ticz, Uthappa should be out and far away from the squad. We need to fill someone else instead of RU. Whether it is Raina or whoever else who has earned a good name in the IPL.
prince40
it was an ok knock by raina, but pls dont overhype him again, we saw how he played against mumbai so chill

amits
raina is already there in the squad. time to get dhawan in as well in the squad. the delhi-ncr combo will be just too much for the other teams to handle
zubinpepsi
haha .. uthappa is a quality player and raina is a ok player.. vow u must b freakin intellligent... :hysterical:
zubinpepsi
Raina is an excellent fielder and is a clean hitter .. lot better than uthappam.. who fiddles behind the wkt for some lucky runs..
Ram
Raina is definitely a better ODI player than Uthappa. He is a better finisher, his shot selection is more conventional, compared to Robin who depends a lot on improvised paddle-sweeps and scoops which leads to dismissal many times and he's a better fielder. I see no reason why Robin should play in the eleven ahead of Raina.
bunny
Dropping Robin makes a bit of sense, but how come Raina is suddenly deserving of a permanent spot in the XI? Not good enough technique to play at 3, not good enough power to bat at 6/7. He will always be in and out of the squad.

Zakhmi
what a bloody player he is.. he is in red hot form.... hittin anything at will... awesome player.. he shud definitely be playing for the ODI team :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up: He is really a gr8 player...( after all he is blessed with SRT's bat ) he is in really red hot form...( once gone after 2-3 games comes back only after 10s of matches ) He should definitely play for the ODI team...( mostly as 12th man due to irregular performances ) I think he should be tried for a series regularly...( incase, if he has learnt to play consistently and provide stability to the middle order. In IPL he didn't perform outstandingly like other youngsters. )

He can hit it cleaner than Rohit Sharma but RS is going to be a #3 batsman, and Yuvi a #5. Raina will find it really hard to fit.

swami1984
Man' date=' there are so many raina fans here.[/quote'] they only seem to creep up when he scores something like this. Didn't see them advocating him when he failed against Bangalore (well didn't really fail but failed to bring the team through). Conveniently forgetting that he has done less in the tourney than say Shikhar Dhawan, Yusuf Pathan or Rohit Sharma...apparently he must now be in the ODI XI!? Interestingly, all or most of these Raina fans also are CSK fans
